Rockabilly culture is all about style and there’ll be plenty of it on display at the Ball; from vintage guitars to fashion. Here you’ll find just a taste of what will be on show on the night.
Vintage Guitars
Rockabilly music without guitars is just not possible, so thanks to the Zone of Tone we’ll have a bunch of wonderful 1950s instruments on display at the Ball. Stratocasters, Telecasters, big old Gretsch guitars with bigsby whammy bars…the perfect accompaniment to a night of 50s fun.
Fashion
Get dressed up for the night and watch out for best dressed and other door prizes, plus we’ll have some great 50s fashions on display.
Our very special guests will be those frolicsome fashionistas the Darling Sisters who'll not only be providing some 1950s style haut couture in their Rockabilly Ball Salon but also a free 'Darling Sisters' Emergency Tart-up and Agony Aunt Stand'. Just drop-in for hair/makeup repairs, and advice on flirting and deportment 1950s-style.
